Steeped from the farm to the cup, this local craft beverage company captures the vibrant, crisp flavors of the fall harvest.
Asheville Tea Company releases their 2019 Fall Seasonals including Spiced Apple Butter, Pumpkin Pie Chai, Chocolate Habanero Chai and more.
“These teas are inspired by some of our favorite flavors of fall,” said Asheville Tea Company owner, Jessie Dean. “I remember watching the Apple Butter being made in our hometown of Valle Crucis, NC in large cast iron pots as a child, and we always had a slice of pumpkin pie on our plates for family get-togethers. That’s what these blends are really all about – experimenting with new flavor experiences while honoring our own traditions.”
Asheville Tea Company creates craft tea blends with regional and sustainably-sourced ingredients, highlighting the full flavors of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The Fall Seasonals feature an array of locally and sustainably grown ingredients from farms throughout the Western North Carolina region including crisp Candler-grown apples, pumpkins turmeric and ginger from Barnardsville and chocolate habanero peppers.
“It’s important to us to maintain our focus on working with area farms because we believe these ingredients create the best flavor and vibrant color in our cups,” said Dean. “We are able to offer teas that don’t need additives or flavor crystals like many teas on the market because these ingredients are so much fresher.”
