Cozy up with a glass of Chianti and celebrate the spirit of Italy at Isis Music Hall.
Italian Night returns to Isis Thursday, Oct. 25 with a special evening of Italian string music, culinary delights and classic vintage cinema of Italy.
The evening brings to the stage Mike Guggino, and Barrett Smith, of the Grammy award-winning Steep Canyon Rangers, to serenade the very essence of Italy.
“Italian Night is one of the most unique musical evenings you will find anywhere in the country,” said Guggino, who first discovered this music through his Sicilian grandfather. “The folks at Isis Restaurant and Music Hall have allowed us to use the perfect venue in Asheville to make this a reality. You can expect an amazing Italian meal to accompany the music and even a Fellini movie or two projected silently on the back wall.”
Isis Music Hall will offer a five-course special Italian menu that includes Fried Baby Buffalo Mozzarella, Pesto Chicken & Smoked Corn Chowder, Italian Chopped Salad, Chicken Scarpariello or Bronze Filet Mignon and Pumpkin Tiramisu or traditional Zabaglione. Cost for the five-course meal is $40. Isis will also offer their regular menu for guests and vegan options are available.
Music begins at 8:30 p.m. with the special Italian menu accompanied throughout the performance. Tickets for” Italian Nights” at Isis Music Hall are $10. Dinner and drinks are sold separately.
