Buon Appetito! Celebrate the spirit of Italy at Isis Music Hall

The passion, the music, and the renowned cuisine of Italy come together for a one-of-a-kind evening at Isis Music Hall.

In collaboration with Mike Guggino, of Steep Canyon Rangers, and Barrett Smith, of Shannon Whitworth Band, Isis Music Hall hosts a series of events serenading the spirited essence of Italy.

“Italian Night” will bring a special evening of Italian string music, the beloved culinary arts of Italy and the backdrop of beautiful vintage Fellini films to Isis Music Hall Thursday, Dec. 21.

“Mike Guggino and Barrett Smith came to us with the idea last year and the evening has grown in popularity,” said Scott Woody, Isis owner, adding the first Italian Night of 2017 sold out within days in November. “Mike’s desire to explore his Italian heritage thru music has made this a magical night.

With mandolin and guitar, Mike and Barrett have brought their own interpretations and expressions of this enchanting music, while still preserving a spirit of utter authenticity.

The music found in the Italian mandolin repertoire offers a romantic, festive atmosphere that seems to carry with it the very essence of Italy.

“The music goes deep into the Italian culture with a little history and much passion,” Woody said.

Isis Music Hall’s premier chefs match the mood with a special menu featuring the tastes of Italy from fresh salads and pasta dishes to traditional stuffed meats, olives, Italian cheeses and desserts.

“The evening is really romantic and beautiful, and we welcome friends and families to come enjoy these special evenings,” Woody said. “Buon Appetito!”

Music begins at 8:30 p.m. with a special Italian menu accompanied throughout the performance. Tickets for” Italian Nights” at Isis Music Hall are $10. Dinner and drinks are sold separately.
